He is now more machine than man. Fuelled by his rage, Genji wanders the frozen plains, trying to accept his new cybernetic form. He must come to terms with who, and what, he has become.
On his travels he meets a member of the Shambali, named Zenyatta.




Well, another one. I mixed up the art-style formula a little for this one. Whether or not it works, I dunno. =P You guys will have to tell me.
I deliberately created disjointed character models and choppy movements to give a bit of a hand-crafted asian look. But always maintained something in the frame running at the full 24FPS to keep up with consistancy.

I looked at a lot of asian art while making this. The animation-style was Japanese-inspired with the choppy FPS and with constant wind/cloth simulations. The colour-pallette and scenery were taken straight from a few Chinese watercolour paintings I liked. And the architecture was inspired by a bunch of Indian temples.
All-in-all, I really enjoyed crafting the look of this one. It still looks like Overwatch, But I got to mess around a little with my own stuff, too.

I know there are a few lore-issues here and there. Things like Genji's room on the Nepal map, which doesn't match up to the temple seem in the animation. And the fact that Genji is having flashes of older Hanzo, instead of young Hanzo, but those things I felt I was aloud to warp a little. =P

Really hope you guys enjoyed this! It took WAY longer to make than I was expecting.
