The narcissist wants to break the relationship over and over and over again what they look to do is they look to get people to enter the relationship with them while they the narcissist wear a mask.. they manipulate these people by gaslighting them stonewalling them giving them the silent treatment and more, but the narcissist is always looking for the next shiny object the new relationship to enter and when they enter that relationship with the new supply, they exit the relationship with you and that is meant to keep you stuck and trapped and wondering if you did enough, you certainly did do enough and more leave the narcissist in the past and continue to move forward each and every day.
