‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield has questioned whether Aussie actress Rebel Wilson's latest claims about Melissa McCarthy are just to "make a buck”.

The Australian actor claims Melissa McCarthy stole a role that should have gone to her in the hit film Bridesmaids.

“I feel like Hollywood is about who you know so where is the shock in Melissa had a contact and that got her one step closer isn’t that the dream, isn’t that why you network in the city and sit through terrible screenings,” Ms Schofield told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“I mean I don’t see any value in what Rebel said.

“I mean the more kind of shock stories and headlines that come out of her book you start to think is this all just to make a buck?”
