I’ve always been a big fan of 60’s girl groups like The Ronettes, The Shangri-Las and The Supremes. The songs they put out have such a nostalgic and emotional feel to them, yet they are so simple and elegant. I decided to use these amazing tracks as an inspiration for a new tune. I wrote and recorded this together with Toby Gad and Ina Forsman a beautiful day in my little studio in Amsterdam. We had loads of fun creating this song, and I hope you’ll be able to hear that. It’s old school production and writing in a modern jacket. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
