Ram has unveiled its latest innovation, the Ram ProMaster Electric Van (EV), marking a significant advancement in their electrification journey. This new vehicle is Ram's first fully electrified offering and is set to redefine the standards for commercial electric vehicles.

The Ram ProMaster EV is designed to cater to diverse commercial needs with two main configurations: a delivery model and two cargo models. These are available in 12-foot and extended 13-foot cargo lengths, both featuring a 159-inch wheelbase. This variety ensures that different commercial requirements are met, from last-mile delivery services to heavier cargo needs.

A key feature of the ProMaster EV is its impressive battery system, equipped with a 110-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack that provides a city driving range of up to 174 miles. This setup not only supports sustainable operations but also offers robust performance metrics, including a payload capacity of up to 3,020 pounds in the cargo van configuration. The delivery model variant supports a payload of 2,030 pounds, catering to intensive delivery schedules.

Performance is further enhanced by a 200-kilowatt (kW) electric drive module (EDM), delivering 268 horsepower and 302 lb.-ft. of torque, ensuring that the van doesn’t sacrifice power for sustainability. Front-wheel drive comes standard, enhancing its maneuverability and performance in diverse driving conditions.

Charging the ProMaster EV is versatile and convenient, with options ranging from 50kW to 150 kW for Level 3 DC fast charging, and a more domestic-friendly 11 kW Level 2 wall box charger. Additionally, the van features a range of fleet-friendly technologies such as Ram Telematics, which provides essential data to optimize operations, from route efficiency to vehicle diagnostics.

The ProMaster EV integrates advanced safety technologies, including front and rear Park Sense, a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance systems, and the innovative Secure Park feature. It also includes next-gen Uconnect 5 infotainment system, enhancing both operational and driving experience.

This launch is part of Ram’s commitment under the Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategy, emphasizing Ram's dedication to pioneering in the realm of clean, innovative, and efficient mobility solutions.
