Virgina became an electrician because she looked at the job market and saw a need for more Skilled Trades. She likes the variety and the different aspects there is to learn. Her key responsibility is to make code compliant installations which means understanding the code (based on your province), know how to put the equipment and wiring together, but also to have quality workmanship. Do it right and do it properly so you’re proud of the work at the end of the day and so it’s safe, says Virgina. Watch her eloquent talk for some great advice!
