With this tutorial, you will learn the thrust or barracuda, a figure where you rise above the water while upside-down.

The scull technique shown in this video is very easy to learn based on my coaching experience. This simplified variation helps to keep the balance in vertical, and it is less demanding in terms of arms and core strength and hamstrings flexibility. It will enable you to get out to the hips. To adapt this technique to a beginner's level, I applied the German teaching and learning concept "vertikale didaktische Reduktion" (vertical didactic reduction).
