The definite integral can be found using several different methods. This presentation shows how to find the definite integral using the limit definition. While in practice we will normally evaluate the definite integral using the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, it is essential for the foundation of the work in integral calculus to know how to evaluate it using the limit definition.
