On 22 November, the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) hosted an online event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Kids and Diabetes in Schools (KiDS) programme. A panel of experts from IDF, the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), Sanofi and regional governments marked a decade of success for the programme.

KiDS was initiated by IDF, ISPAD and Sanofi in 2013 to bring diabetes education to schools to fight diabetes-related stigma and promote healthy lifestyles to tackle the preventable risk factors for type 2 diabetes.
