House Stokeworth have been an important part of the crownlands since it's creation during Aegon's Conquest being one of the first mainland seats captured by House Targaryen. They would play a role at court over the Targaryen era of westeros like the building of the red keep and the dance of the dragons. They also play a huge role in the Baratheon era as seen in the mainbooks being one of the few locations left able to supply food to King's Landing during the war of five kings with Tanda Stokeworth and her daughters a key part of the court of Joffrey and Tommen Baratheon
