Rep. Lauren Boebert decried the “very disrespectful” hecklers who greeted her with chants of “Beetlejuice” and anti-Israel screeds during her venture through George Washington University Wednesday.
Undeterred, Boebert (R-Col.) strolled through campus with several Republican lawmakers flanked by a security team, as anti-Israel protesters hummed the “Imperial March” theme from “Star Wars” and repeatedly trolled her over the September “Beetlejuice” debacle, in which she was booted from the show after she was caught on camera groping her date.
Boebert eventually took a bullhorn and lambasted their behavior.
“This is what the students at GWU are facing each and every day. Their learning activities are being disrupted; their finals are being disrupted. It’s very disrespectful,” Boebert lamented.
“We have Jewish students who have approached me today who fear for the safety of their lives.”
