“This year is the year of show and tell…”

The evening felt particularly momentous for South London riser Amie Blu who was gearing up for the release of sophomore EP ‘Crumbs In My Bed’ at midnight. Reflecting the confessional nature of her work which draws from contemporary RnB greats Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake, the 20-year old performed a stripped-back set of brand new material and fan favourites, instantly capturing a charged stillness within the room. Indeed, there’s a warmth in her tone and delivery; a universal connection across her songwriting that can only be grasped with time and practice - it’s something that Amie is proud of.
