In this video I synthesize the oxidizing and dehydrating organic compound chloranil from OTC Tylenol (paracetamol).
I plan to eventually use this to make Dioxane Violet pigment 23, but this chemical is extremely versatile and can be used as a starting point for various chemicals which I also may decide to make.
