SURAN’s 3rd EP album [Flyin’ Pt. 1] is the sequel to her first two EP albums [Walkin’] and [Jumpin’]. Mirroring SURAN’s path in life, [Flyin’] is an album that embodies and celebrates SURAN’s freedom of expression as she reignites her passion and dreams through her music. With this newfound sense of hope and freedom through artistic expression, [Flyin’] tells her story of finding her identity, maturity, and finally discovering the bravery to “fly” unapologetically. After establishing her own independent label S-TASY in 2021 and releasing her first three S-TASY singles [Sunny], [Blanket (feat. Wonstein)] and [Devils in the city (feat. Dok2)], SURAN aims to create and share music that brings listeners into her own world of fantasy, inspiring her listeners to find the same courage to explore and grow within their own unique journeys. To achieve this goal, SURAN paid special focus and attention to the sound design and sound quality of this album, making sure to weave both futuristic and classic textures to create a fresh and timeless experience.

“Diamonds (feat. TAEYONG of NCT)”
“Diamonds”, the title song of this album, is a Fantasy R&B song that showcases SURAN’s unique artistic vision. Lyrically and sonically, “Diamonds” crafts a sense of timelessness by evoking both futuristic and classic feelings and emotions. Blending elements of synth-based Dance/Pop with the intricate, emotional harmonies of R&B and the raw, edgy energy of modern Hip-Hop 808 and drums, “Diamonds” is SURAN’s pledge to fans and listeners to always be there for them as an artist and singer. Additionally, TAEYONG of NCT injects his own brand of fantasy with his charming vocals and unique delivery, expanding upon the other-worldly dimension within the song.

수란의 3번째 EP앨범 [FLYIN’ PART1]은 그녀의 첫 두 EP앨범 [Walkin’], [Jumpin'] 과 이어지는 앨범이다.
아티스트 수란의 삶의 여정이 그대로 투영된 [FLYIN’] 앨범은 그녀가 자신의 음악을 통해 열정과 꿈을 다시 일으켰음을 자유로운 표현으로 구현하고 기념하는 앨범이다.
음악적 예술적인 표현을 통해 [FLYIN’] 앨범은 그녀의 정체성과 성숙함을 찾고 마침내 당당하게 "비행"할 용기를 발견하는 이야기를 들려준다.
수란은 2021년 S-TASY라는 독립 레이블을 직접 설립하고 S-TASY 이름으로 3개의 싱글 [Sunny], [Blanket (feat. Wonstein)] , [Devils in the city (feat. Dok2)] 를 발매했는데, 자신만의 판타지의 세계로 리스너들을 끌어들이는 음악을 만들고 공유하는 것을 목표로 하고 있으며, 리스너들이 자신만의 독특한 여정 안에서 탐색하고 성장할 용기를 찾도록 영감을 주려 한다.
이러한 목표를 달성하기 위해 수란은 이번 앨범의 사운드 디자인과 퀄리티에 집중했으며, 미래적이고 클래식한 질감을 모두 엮어 신선하고 시대를 초월한 경험을 만들도록 하였다.

“Diamonds (feat. 태용 of NCT)”
이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 'Diamonds'는 수란 특유의 예술적 상상이 돋보이는 판타지 R&B 곡이다. "Diamonds"의 가사와 음악은 미래적이면서도 고전적인 감정을 모두 불러일으킴으로써 시간을 초월한 듯한 느낌을 만들어낸다.
신시사이저 기반의 Dance/Pop의 요소들과 R&B의 복잡하고 감성적인 조화, 그리고 현대 힙합 의 808 드럼의 생동감 있고 엣지 있는 에너지가 혼합된 'Diamonds'는 아티스트이자 가수로서 항상 팬들과 청취자들에게 함께 하자는 수란의 다짐이다. 여기에 NCT 태용의 매력적인 보컬과 독특한 랩이 더해져 리스너들의 더 넓은 상상력을 자극한다.
