The Super Mario Bros. Movie looks fantastic. It's a nonstop thrill ride with plenty of crowd pleasing moments and satisfying easter eggs, but moves so fast that plot and character beats are thin and nothing is given time to breathe. This may be fine for kids, but as adults and fans of Mario, I say, couldn't we have gotten more? Let's dive in.
