The Aljafería Palace in Zaragoza is a monumental complex made up of three overlapping palaces built in different historical periods. It is considered the most important construction of the 11th century at the Islamic West and the best-preserved example of the Taifa era. This audio-visual tells us its historical evolution, summarized in just over 5 minutes.

I made this video in 2002 and it was included in the DVD "Saraqusta, a tour of Muslim Zaragoza". The commission was from the Culture Area of the Zaragoza City Council, and the production was by ATEVA comunicacion.

I dedicate this work to the memory of Carmelo Lasa, who patiently accompanied us and advised us wisely throughout the production.
