Oh my glob, Fionna & Cake just dropped its first two episodes, and this continuation of Adventure Time lore is already one of my favorite matured animated spin-offs of all time. Sorry, Rugrats All Grown Up… you tried. Fionna & Cake is a masterclass in growing a story along with its audience, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t identify with Simon & Fionna so hard after seeing these eps.
