Set in the 23rd century, 'The Fifth Element' is a visually stunning and imaginative sci-fi film directed by Luc Besson. The movie opens with the discovery of an ancient temple in Egypt, where a group of alien beings called the Mondoshawans arrive to retrieve a powerful weapon capable of defeating a great evil that appears every 5000 years. Fast forward to 2263, the great evil returns, and the Mondoshawans attempt to bring the stones back to Earth.
