The Denver Nuggets did it again!

For the first game, Jokic arrived dressed as Gru, and despite his comment, "Not to be the boss," the result last Saturday was decisive: 32 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, and a couple of steals. Jokic dominated at times and never seemed particularly bothered by whatever the Lakers threw at him.

In the second game, Denver bounced back from a 20-point deficit and clinched the win against Los Angeles with a buzzer-beating jump shot from Jamal Murray.

This shot not only turned the tide of the game but also ignited a resurgence in Murray's performance, as he struggled to find his rhythm, missing 13 of his first 16 shots.

Right now, the Lakers not only find themselves trailing 0-2 against Denver, but their morale and chances of winning the series are crushed, at least temporarily... they're only human. An opportunity was squandered, and oh yes, they haven't beaten the Nuggets since 2022.
