After three incredible Toy Story movies wrapped up a touching story started all the way back in 1995, Pixar and Disney decided it was best to leave the franchise alone after such a great accomplishment. Oh, except then they made a fourth one. And now they made a spin-off. But other than that - just a great trilogy left untarnished by corporate greed!

Lightyear raises a lot of questions. Like what is this movie exactly? Was this really meant to represent an action movie that came out in the mid 90s? Why did Buzz land the entire colony onto a planet instead of sending a scout to see if it was habitable? Why did we never see a Sox the Cat toy in the Toy Story universe? Didn’t Toy Story 2 establish that Zurg was Buzz’s father and not… himself but from the future? Why is this a completely different version of Buzz than the character people know and love?
