The Inspiration behind this video:

Inside Out 2 is one of 2024's most highly-anticipated films, and the trailers have pretty much confirmed how it's going to end. Inside Out 2 is set to release on June 14, 2024, and expand upon Riley's journey into teenage hood. The original film had both commercial and critical success, boasting a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and a Best Animated Film win at the 88th Academy Awards. Because of the acclaim of the first film, there are high expectations associated with Inside Out 2. Based on trailers, the sequel has the same relatability as the original, helping set it up for success.

The film sees the return of Amy Poehler as Joy, and joining her will be Phyllis Smith's Sadness and Lewis Black's Anger. Inside Out 2 was written by the screenwriter for the original film, Meg LeFauve, which serves as an indication that the film will be able to maintain the charm that made the original so popular to begin with. Though the returning characters and screenwriter highlight how in line the sequel will be with Inside Out, Inside Out 2 is also making an effort to switch things up. There are new characters being introduced, and Kelsey Mann will be directing, making this his feature film debut.
