LEWCO recently provided an adhesive manufacturing company with a system of heavy duty belt conveyors and powered turntables. This system handles 4000 lb. rolls of paper on a plastic sled.

Due to possible deflection in the plastic sled, dead plate transitions were used on the end of each conveyor to minimize the gap created by the pulleys. Application Engineers should be consulted when there are concerns about the transitioning of product between conveyors.



Structural back stops assist the fork truck operator with unloading the product on the belt conveyor and prevents the product from rolling off of the other side.

LEWCO engineers provided 3D system models to the customer to verify strict dimensional requirements were met. This also helped identify potential interference issues that could be addressed easily in the design stage and prevent problems during installation.
