The Nintendo GameCube had a lot of weird accessories. Such as the DK Bongos, The Gameboy player, and that bizarre keyboard controller. But one accessory that I would like to talk about today is the Microphone. It was a regular microphone that you can plug into one of the GameCube’s memory card slots. There were only 6 GameCube games that supported this microphone add on. I will be talking about one of those games, that game in particular, being Mario Party 6. One mode that supported the GameCube microphone was Speak Up. Speak Up basically plays like a quiz show where up to four players take turns answering questions using the Game Cube Microphone. I recorded three games of Speak Up which I will be providing my own commentary on for entertainment value. With all of that out of the way, it’s now time to speak up!
