A country bumpkin Mohan arrives in Mumbai thinking that life in the city is glamourous and comfortable. But he’s miffed to see people cramped up in box-sized chawls. He meets a damsel and gets married, but his life upturns when she leaves him for reasons which are untrue and his family discards him at the same time. Crestfallen, what will Mohan do to bring back his wife and his family?

एक देहाती लड़का मोहन यह सोचकर मुंबई आता है कि शहर में जीवन आकर्षक और आरामदायक है। लेकिन वह लोगों को बक्से के आकार की चॉलों में बंद देखकर नाराज हो गए। उसकी मुलाकात एक लड़की से होती है और वह शादी कर लेता है, लेकिन उसके जीवन में तब उथल-पुथल मच जाती है, जब वह उसे ऐसे कारणों से छोड़ देती है, जो गलत हैं और उसी समय उसके परिवार वाले भी उसे त्याग देते हैं। निराश, मोहन अपनी पत्नी और अपने परिवार को वापस लाने के लिए क्या करेगा?
