Today, we will be taking a look at the beautiful conclusion to FX's Shogun. I loved the book, and was so exited to watch this show. It did not disappoint. I think the 80's one is certainly more book accurate, but both have their merits as adaptations.

In this video, we'll be zooming into the three-heart structure of Shogun's story. It's wonderfully executed, and I was so so satisfied with the ending. Very much love the unsettling calmness of Toranaga's final scene. It's a big, "oh. Wait, wait, wait OH!" kind of moment.
