The picture contains a number of cartoon jokes that Tashlin is known for (including a drinking joke very similar to the one in Son Of Paleface), but he is not listed among the film's four writers. William Bowers, one of the men who received the credit, also wrote The Gunfighter (1950), The Law And Jake Wade (1958) and Support Your Local Sheriff! (1969).
