"Casablanca" ist das 6. Album von City. Das Album wurde 1987 vom DDR-Plattenlabel Amiga veröffentlicht und gilt wegen seiner freizügigen Texte als Meilenstein der DDR-Rockgeschichte. Zitat von Toni Krahl: „Jede Revolution braucht einen Funken. Wir haben im Grunde die Situation beschrieben, die damals in der DDR herrschte: Vom Osten der Wind von Perestroika und Glasnost – und wir hatten mit einer sturen Funktionärs-Clique zu kämpfen, die das alles nicht wahrhaben wollte. Und 'Casablanca' war die Quittung!“

"Casablanca" is City's sixth album. The album was released in 1987 by the GDR record label Amiga and is considered a milestone in GDR rock history because of its revealing lyrics. Basically, we described the situation that prevailed in the GDR at the time: the wind of perestroika and glasnost was blowing from the east - and we had to contend with a stubborn clique of officials who didn't want to admit it. And 'Casablanca' was the receipt!”
