Taking over the throne from his usurping uncle Maegor, Jaehaerys and his wife Queen Alysanne healed the seven kingdoms into one unified realm. The actions (and inaction) of Jaehaerys throughout his life and reign played a huge role in the setup for House of the Dragon and the Dance of the Dragons civil war.
