During his wish, he said he felt "magic inside". At the end of the day, Christopher, 14, of Presque Isle said to his wish granters, "Thank you for making me famous... I feel special." What did Make-A-Wish, dedicated volunteers and a generous community do to achieve this?

First, a videographer was hired to film Christopher's day while a local news anchor chronicled each moment - a true reality television star. Then, the City of Presque Isle gave him special access to normally restricted areas.

At a red carpet press event where Christopher arrived via limousine, he was made "Honorary Mayor of the Day" and was presented with a Key to the City by the City Council.

The Presque Isle police provided Christopher with a tour of their facility and a police escort throughout the day while the Fire Department invited him to explore their trucks. Both departments presented Christopher with memorabilia. He explored a race car and was made honorary Wal-Mart Store Manager.

He received a tour of the Northern Maine Regional Airport where he met a pilot, received his own flight suit, and check out a plane. He was named Special Agent Officer of Customs and Border Protection. Then, he made his way to Wal-mart where he received special treatment. He ended the day having cheesecake and coffee and some unwinding moments with the police and firemen.

As volunteers wrapped up their day with Christopher, he was holding onto the Key to The City and telling his mom that, to remember the day, he wants his shadow box from the Police and Fire Dept. and the race car door hung on a wall where he can see them from his chair.
