“American Idol” alums Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard have taken on yet another singing competition, only this time they didn’t make it to the end. On May 2, the singers, who both competed on Season 2 of “American Idol,” were revealed to be the voices behind the masked duo The Beets on “The Masked Singer.” The pair was just one episode shy of reaching the quarter finals. Following the elimination, the two discussed competing together instead of against each other this time around with Access Hollywood. Clay and Ruben also spoke about dedicating their final performance to their respective children. Plus, see their reaction when asked if they’d consider doing another competition show. "The Masked Singer" airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
