In this video I synthesize pure (glacial) acetic (ethanoic) acid from common vinegar.
This process can also be done by fractional freezing (I guess) but it isn't nearly as scientifically interesting.
Also note that nothing done here is particularly efficient, as this stuff is quite easy to just buy outright.
