The Women's 100m event kicked off at 13:41 (local time) at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, USA. The temperature range that day was between 13°C - 26°C (55°F - 78°F). According to Diamond League Official Records, the Wind Speed at the time of the event was +0.9 m/s (the positive sign means that the sprinters had a Tail Wind). The City of Eugene is located at an altitude of 131 meters (430 feet) above sea level.

The event featured some of the Fastest Women on Earth, a Constellation of Stars, including the entire Tokyo Olympic Podium for the Women's 100m, and also Olympic Medalists in the Women's 4X100m Relay, and 4X400m Relay. Nine competitors in total, eight of them Tokyo Olympic Finalists, in Four different events:

Sha'Carri Richardson (USA), the American Star was banned from participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games, even though she had qualified to participate.

Briana Williams (Jamaica), Olympic Gold Medalist in the Women's 4x100m Relay.

Mujinga Kambundji (Switzerland), Olympic Finalist in the Women's 100m, 200m and 4x100m Relay.

Javianne Oliver (USA), Olympic Silver Medalist in the Women's 4x100m Relay.

Marie-Josée Ta Lou (Ivory Coast), Olympic Finalist in the Women's 100m and 200m.

Teahna Daniels (USA), Olympic Silver Medalist in the Women's 4x100m Relay, and Olympic Finalist in the Women's 100m.

Shericka Jackson (Jamaica), Olympic Gold Medalist in the Women's 4x100m Relay, Olympic Bronze Medalist in the Women's 4x400m Relay, Olympic Bronze Medalist in the Women's 100m.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (Jamaica), Olympic Gold Medalist in the Women's 4x100m Relay, Olympic Silver Medalist in the Women's 100m, Olympic Finalist in the Women's 200m.

Elaine Thompson-Herah (Jamaica), Olympic Champion Women's 100m, Olympic Champion Women's 200m, Olympic Champion Women's 4x100m Relay.

The Fastest Woman on Earth Elaine Thompson-Herah (Jamaica) proved that her form was in an ascending path after her Gold Medal-Winning Performances at the Tokyo Olympics, obliterating the rest of the best, crossing the Finish Line in 10.54s, that is TWO TENTH'S of a second faster than her compatriot the Highly Decorated Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (10.73s).

For Jamaican Superstar Thompson-Herah her winning time of 10.54s represented a World Lead, a National Record, a Diamond League Record, and a Personal Best, her winning time represented a decrease in time of 0.6598% with respect to her Previous Best Time of 10.61s, her Olympic Gold Medal-Winning time from Tokyo.
