At the beginning of 2023, Ja,mes Gunn, the new head of DC, unveiled the 10 projects that make up some of the new DC Universe’s first chapter, titled God and Monsters. Ranging from expected projects like a Superman movie and a Batman movie to things no one could’ve predicted like Paradise Lost, the Authority and Creature Commandos. The randomness of these projects, the ranging between A listers and Z listers, live action and animated, movie and tv, alongside confirmation that video games will be included as well makes it virtually impossible to predict how this chapter will go beyond these 10 projects + Peacemaker Season 2. Today, I’ll be attempting the impossible, conveying my genuine prediction for how the entirety of Chapter 1 - Gods and Monsters will unfold with the assumption that it’ll cover half of James Gunn’s 10 year plan, meaning that it’ll last 5 years.
