Got this idea from the 'BBC family' ident being used in the wake of HRH Prince Philip, DoE's passing.

The original 1997 ribbons ident, filmed using lengths of dyed ribbon in a tank with a high speed camera, was designed for unified presentation for obituary broadcasting and national emergency broadcasting. It was picked up by BBC Worldwide for video and latterly DVD releases and was used as a desktop wallpaper, corporate flag, ID card background and as an element for anything to signify a unified BBC. It was never shown for its intended purpose, nor was the associated clock.

With the help of AfterEffects I wanted to see what would happen if I modernised the 1997 family ident and mixed it with the 1991-1997 smokey background family ident seen when Diana died, and the 2021 Family ident.

This was the end result.
