Three songs from the 1983 compilation album " Dinah Washington A slick chick (On the mellow side) The Rhythm & Blues Years". all songs here were originally recorded in 1943, Probably released as Mercury78 rpm records in 1944. ~ September in the rain is a great song. But here is (In my opinion) the real Diana Washington, who by the way was a big influence on Aretha Franklin, Amy Whitehouse, and many others (Truth). Not happy with the lighting on this. But, it's all about the music, isn't it.
