Area 51 Alien

Hoaxing is a prevalent aspect of UFO research. Although expected, it does limit one's ability to discover the truth. This may be the case with the controversial Area 51 “Alien Interview Tape”. It is an audio and video recording from 1996 that was supposedly made in Groom Lake in Nevada. This top-secret US government station is where many believe the US government shelters captured alien craft. Many weird objects and phenomena have been observed in the skies over Area 51. In fact, the United States government did not even acknowledge its existence until the early twenty-first century. Furthermore, anybody who worked at Groom Lake was closely investigated regarding how they were employed and where they worked on “The Base”. These civilian employees were flown to work and then bused in on closely regulated charter buses. A group of armed guards constantly patrol each sector of Groom Lake, shooting as they go. What they miss is monitored by a slew of sophisticated audio and motion detection technology. It remains this way even today. In the video, an unseen man interviews a gray-like extraterrestrial entity. The individual appears battered and possibly lacerated. He appears to be linked up to a variety of medical scanners. The entire interview takes place behind a glass windowpane. The spectator can occasionally see a reflection in the glass of an apparent military general's rank. The bottom of the film is inscribed with the words DNI and a sequence of possible time stamp numbers. The term "DNI" refers to the Department of Naval Intelligence. Many critics have disassembled the video, and without the ability to precisely date the original 35mm print, this will always remain the case. Although the appearance technology is compatible with the late 1940s and 1950s, these might easily be film props. The actuality of the putative "Being" is open for debate.
