Excerpts from a December, 1968 performance of the original production of "Cabaret," at its third Broadway home, the Broadway Theatre. The leads are Anita GIllette (Sally Bowles), Larry Kert (Clifford Bradshaw), Lotte Lenya (Fraulein Schneider), Martin Ross (Emcee), George Voskovec (Schultz), and Rhoda Gemignani (Fraulein Kost). This was recorded primarily to capture the performances of Gillette and Kert. A substantial amount of dialogue is included, and the sound is quite good for a vintage audience recording.
