Craig Brewer's INDIE ORIGINS tells the story of a group of mavericks who, armed with little more than cheap cameras and hope, created an independent film scene in Memphis from scratch. Included in the documentary are several exceedingly rare short films which Brewer tracked down and preserved for posterity, including Brett Cantrell's portrait of a rodeo clown, "Eso-Phagus".

The DVD will be available exclusively at Black Lodge Video, the incomparable Midtown, Memphis video store that has served as the spiritual home and research library for Memphis filmmakers since its founding in the 1990s.
