April 20, 2012Enjoy Dolly Parton - Light Of A Clear Blue MorningEnjoy During the early morning hours of April 20th, 2012 (the day after my birthday), I lost my dear friend, Grace. She took her life. This video is dedicated to her. In no way am I condoning suicide, but I could never pass judgement on her or anyone else. On some level, I understand the suffering she endured during this life and I believe it was more than even the strongest should ever have to bear. Shed lost a child and 11 months later lost her husband. She became addicted to prescription pain medication and antidepressants and was then diagnosed with a debilitating illness. During this time she married her childhood friend, also widowed, only to wake up on the morning of April 20th, 2012 and find him deceased. She took an overdose, lay next to her new husband and joined him. On her nightstand, beside her bed, was a plaque that read, Everything will be okay in the end, if its not okay...its not the end. She left a simple note that read, Its okay, now. This is what the last two photos in this video represent.

This song was played at Graces memorial service and, to a great deal, represented her life. As her sister-in-law said, As the song says, she truly was like a captured eagle. Now, I believe she has won her freedom. And like an eagle, she is finally able to fly. May she always rest in peace...Album - New Harvest...First Gathering
