At age 12, Brad Cohen was diagnosed with a little-known neurological disorder called Tourette syndrome. At the time, few understood the disorder, especially the kids at school and Brad was tormented for years because of his Tourette's. When Brad went looking for his first teaching job, no one would give him a chance. He went on 24 excruciating interviews before he was hired. Brad went on to win the state of Georgia's First Year Teacher of the Year award. In 2006, Oprah sat down with the extraordinary soul who refused to give up.
