ISIP - International Students of Islamic Psychology in collaboration with the Khalil Center and Ibn Haldun University, hosted Dr. Hooman Keshavarzi on Sun. Feb. 13th, 2022. He spoke on The Application of Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy (TIIP) for the Treatment of OCD Scrupulosity (Waswasa). The session was in English, including engaging audience Questions and Answers.
Dr. Hooman Keshavarzi is a licensed psychotherapist and Doctorate of Clinical Psychology. He is currently a visiting scholar for Ibn Haldun University (Istanbul, Turkey), and an Adjunct Professor at American Islamic College, Hartford Seminary. He is also the founding director of the Khalil Center in the United States, which is a psychological and spiritual community wellness center advancing the professional practice of psychology rooted in Islamic theology.
