I review, breakdown and explain Shogun episode 10 on FX. I discuss the season finale story which is set in 1600 in Japan as John Blackthorne arrived there. I react to the aftermath of Mariko’s death, reveal what Toranaga’s plan was, the outcome of the battle of Sekigahara, Yabushige’s death, Lady Ochiba changing alliances from Ishido, as well as the ending with John Blackthorne smiling. I compare the story to the real events with Ieyasu Tokugawa and William Adams. I also give my theories and predictions on if there will be a season 2.
