In November, we honored Red Cross volunteer Alison Bergman for her lifetime of service, including her work founding Operation Cookie Drop to help deliver Girl Scout cookies to service members and veterans.

Alison has now delivered more than 1.5 million boxes of cookies, and also dedicates her time to countless local and community organizations serving service members, veterans, and her community — including The American Legion, Veteran Affairs Voluntary Service, Montrose VA Food Pantry, My Brother Vinny, Inc., United For The Troops, Inc., Westchester County Veterans Alliance Committee, Girl Scouts of the USA, and the Town of Greenburgh, NY Women Veteran Peace Garden.
