Not many people know, but Johnnie gave Chuck one of his first gigs, and had a hand in writing many of Chuck's hits, tho' he didn't get credit for it. He was driving a bus in St Louis when Keith Richards found him, and brought him back to music, fortunately. Kudos to Ian Stewart, who helped start the Stones, for reminding Keith about Johnnie. Ahhhh, the unsung heroes.
