Commodore 64: still used for balancing shafts repair shop car in Gdansk Poland.

Perhaps for many the Commodore 64 is already a museum piece or a team who keep fondly in the attic or fortunate, in some shelf home. For others, however, the legendary C64 remains a computer that can go a long way. It is what happens for example in a mechanical repair shop car in Gdansk, Poland. There are a Commodore 64 being used to balance follows shafts and has been in use for that 25 already same task. Hallucinatory.

On the Commodore USA Facebook explain that in fact is a C64C, a redesign of the Commodore 64 which was basically identical to its predecessor except for that new housing although there were some differences like the sound chip or the fact that the 64K RAM no longer made use of RAMs 8K 8 chips, but 2 of 32K. The model used in this workshop -Take Poland resisted even a flood water resistance, iPhone 7- something that is clearly seen in the appearance of the equipment.

The original publication of the photo caused such a stir in social networks C64 prices suddenly increased by several auction sites in that country. As I mentioned on Facebook a user equipment may be old, but it allows something unique: one can be almost virtually certain of getting rid of malware, viruses ... and even blue screen of death. Hallucinating, I insist.
