it's just after sunset and you're in the car with a new friend sitting at a stoplight just before the edge of town. there's a light rain and a window is cracked. you're headed out on a weekend adventure, and you're both excited but unsure of exactly what's to come. lives change in a moment, and you've got a whole weekend together. the responsibilities of the week and the day-to-day-mundane are fading away and the endless potentials of the time away are setting in.

this jazzy off-kilter groovy jam of a song came out of many solo writing sessions in more than a years time. the wandering melodies all came naturally from each other and the lyrics came together after everything else was in place. it's my personal favorite song on the record for it's depth, patience and story. excited to share! - Zivi
