To kick things off in 2023, Delicious Vinyl Island and Goldenvoice are excited to announce the release of “Boomyard x Cali Vibes 2022” shot and edited by Tizzy Tokyo, highlighting the first ever CaliVibes x BoomYard experience. The video follows the first year of the Cali Vibes Festival under the GoldenVoice brand. In the nine-minute showcase, with narration by Walshy Fire, who also appeared on the 2022 stage, viewers get a chance to see the behind the scenes work it took to get some of Jamaica’s top talent to California to appear at a major music festival. “Boomyard x Cali Vibes 2022” features interviews and highlights with last year’s performers such as Teejay, Jesse Royal, Amanyea, Sarah Couch, Yaadcore, DJ Delano of Renaissance Sound System and of course Mr. Vegas. It also reflects on how the stage provided a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the discovery of Caribbean talent at a major North American music festival.
