Injustice 2: The Guest Character DLC Motive FINALLY Revealed! Injustice 2 will be getting guest character DLC by all accounts of what we've seen so far. From several Ed Boon interviews to his active teases via Twitter, seeing some type of guest character inside of Injustice 2 is pretty much inevitable by now. With that in mind, just a few days ago MortalKombatOnline actually had a chance to interview Brian Chard who worked at NetherRealm Studios for over a decade. In this interview with Chard, he gives us a ton of new insight behind what really goes on behind closed doors at NetherRealm. When finishing up the interview, Chard claims that there were several reasons for his departure. However, he says that WB wanting NetherRealm and it's team to be nothing more than just simply yes-men was the final straw. Like it's been rumored for years, WB really does control a lot of what NetherRealm does in their products. With that, it's pretty obvious now that they were the ones responsible for the recent burst of guest character DLC that we've seen in NetherRealm's last 3 games. If things really are how they seem to be based on this interview, it's safe to assume with WB now in charge of NetherRealm Studios, all of these practices will continue to happen.
