For years, this interview recording was held by an employee of Granada Television although the identity of the original interviewer is unknown. Amongst other tapes, this recording was set to be thrown away. The interview was originally thought to be conducted by Geoffrey Cannon or Jo Durden-Smith during the production of Granada Television's 'The Doors Are Open', however the conductor's identify has not been confirmed as either individual. The contents of this recording feature Jim Morrison's comments on The Doors recent performances at the Roundhouse in London, 1968.
