Sonakshi Sinha and Aditi Rao Hydari have absolutely nailed it in Heeramandi trailer. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali series, that releases on Netflix on May 1, perfectly encapsulates the pangs and perils of the tawaifs and celebrates their bravado with equal gusto. Sonakshi and Aditi who play Fareedan and Bibbojaan respectively, are joined by the two male leads Taaha Shah Badussha and Fardeen Khan, in this candid chat with Galatta India host Nayandeep Rakshit. From discussing their first meeting with SLB to bagging the series, they discuss it all. While Sonakshi shares that Bhansali always felt she has the 'namak' in her, Fardeen recalls his first meeting with the filmmaker in the early 2000s where he was told that he "doesn't have the fire in his eyes". On the other hand, Aditi has a really hilarious story of almost accosting the director after spotting him while eating chaat. Taaha shares that although he was signed up for a 3-day role, Bhansali saw something in him that made him give the bigger male lead's part. They all discuss how terrible they are at doing their own PR and also share how their families reacted to the promos.
